One of the bands of 2011, Elbow, will cap another phenomenal year with a series of U.K. dates in November and December which will take in two cities in the north-west.

The band sold out their debut U.K. arena tour in 2011, and alongside a still lauded Glastonbury set and a series of unique shows that encompassed the crypt of St. Paul’s and the iconic Manchester Cathedral. They started the year with the announcement that they would provide the theme music for the B.B.C.’s 2012 Olympic coverage and then went on to sell out their iconic Jodrell Bank show within minutes of the tickets going on sale.

The band will be releasing Dead In The Boot, the long awaited B sides album, on August 27th and will be playing a five date tour which starts at Nottingham’s Capital FM Arena on Monday 26th November and finishes at the London o2 Arena on Sunday 2nd December. The other show will be at Birmingham’s NIA ON Wednesday 28th November.
