Sandi Thom, Gig Preview. Eric’s, Liverpool. Thursday 9th November 2012.

Scottish singer-songwriter and multi-instrumentalist, Sandi Thom has announced a new tour on the back of her new album, Flesh and Blood, which is due out on August 27th.

The ten date tour kicks off on Thursday 1st November at the London Islington o2 Academy 2 and will take in two venues in the North-West during the tour. The first is at Liverpool’s Eric’s on Mathew Street on Thursday 9th November and then a week later at the Bury Met on the 15th November.

Sandi Thom feels that Flesh and Blood is her coming of age album. “All I ever wanted to do is write songs that connect with people, with this album I’ve finally found a place where I can make the very best music I can achieve. The people that only know me from Punk Rocker, (the 2006 no 1 hit single, I Wish I Was a Punk Rocker (With Flowers In My Hair) won’t recognise me on this album. But they are going to find out another side to me.”

On the basis on how the album sounds, these two nights in the region should go down as a treat for her fans.

Tickets for both of Sandi Thom’s shows in the North-West are available from the venues Box-offices, for Liverpool and for the Bury show. Tickets for both shows are priced at £12.50 and £12 respectively when bought in advance.
