Aspire Trust, in association with Cut to the Chase Productions has just announced a spectacular new site-specific event titled Treasured which has been created and directed by Jen Heyes.

Taking place in Liverpool’s Anglican Cathedral from Monday 1st-Saturday 6th October, this unique theatrical event involving aerialists, soundscapes and large-scale projections, is based around stories of those lost aboard the H.M.S. Titanic.

Cut to the Chase Artistic Director Jen Heyes said, “I believe that building great partnerships is what great business is all about. By joining forces to produce Treasured, Aspire Trust and Cut to the Chase Productions have brought together some amazing creative businesses on a global stage to work together on delivering a high quality, rich and diverse programme of Treasured education and engagement work.”

The production at the Anglican Cathedral weaves through a wonderfully poetic narrative delivered by highly skilled professional performers with never before witnessed film and aerial theatre to leave audiences speechless. This is a truly one-off, theatrical and thought provoking spectacle. Treasured aims to move beyond simply re-telling the tale of H.M.S. Titanic and looks set to explore the remnants of after the tragedy. Those left behind and those taken by the seas become saint like, they are not only remembered but also revered.
