The Rocky Horror Show is a night out like no other. A night with Frank ‘n’ Furter, Janet and Brad is quite possibly the boldest, the most enjoyable piece of theatre devised and now it’s coming back to Liverpool’s Empire Theatre for another rousing performance.

To celebrate its 40th anniversary next year, a new production of the musical is back for a year-long National adventure and will come to the Liverpool Empire from Monday 11th February till Saturday 16th February.

The Rocky Horror Show in the last forty years has become the world’s favourite Rock N’ Roll musical, the songs have passed down from fan to fan and have become timeless in their ability to get audiences up and dancing. Songs such as Dammit Janet, In Just Seven Days I Can Make You A Man, Sweet Transvestite, Science Fiction/Double Feature and of course The Time-Warp.

The Rocky Horror Show tells the story of Brad and his fiancée Janet, two squeaky clean college kids who meet Dr. Frank ‘n’ Furter by chance when their car breaks down outside his house whilst on their way to visit a college professor. In an adventure they nor the audience will ever forget, filled with frolics, fun, frocks and frivolity and of course outrageous outfits, the Rocky Horror Show is a guaranteed party, which combines the love of science fiction, horror, comedy, music, cross-dressing and fancy dress.

Be warned the show has rude parts but all in the right places. It is naughty heaven.

Tickets for The Rocky Horror Show are available from the Empire Theatre Box office or by telephone 0844 8713017. Tickets are priced from £10.
