Undoubtedly one of the finest bands to have emerged from the 1960’s was the Moody Blues. Now the band that fused classical music with a catchy modern beat and intense lyrics have announced they will return to the touring arena in 2013.
The Moody Blues, whose music legacy spans four decades of hit making and sell-out tours, will continue to entertain audiences with their timeless music on the 14 date tour. The Moody Blues will launch their tour on Wednesday 5th June at the Oxford New Theatre and will continue through to Sunday 23rd June at the Bristol Hippodrome. The tour will take in two venues in the north-west on the way, the Manchester Apollo on Wednesday 12th June and on the 9th June the band will come back to the Liverpool Philharmonic Hall, the scene of the triumphant night in September of 2010.
The Moody Blues consist of guitarist and vocalist Justin Hayward, bassist/vocalist John Lodge and drummer Graeme Edge are one of the seminal acts ever to come out of the U.K. Their remarkable consistency has seen them awarded an astonishing 18 platinum discs for their plethora of hits including Night in White Satin, Tuesday Afternoon, Ride My See-Saw, The Story In Your Eyes and the outstanding Question.
One of the great bands of all time, The Moody Blues are a special band and one to catch live in your life time.
