Nero will be headlining with a DJ set at Chibuku on Saturday 13 October. Other acts in this fantastic line up including chart topper Fake Blood doing a DJ set in the Loft, and local star Rich Furness warming up the crowds at the start of the night.

In partnership with Hospitality records, the legendary label run by Tony Colman and Chris Gross, Chibuku will also host Hospitality on Friday 19 October. This will be headlined by Netsky, a Belgian drum and bass producer. The line up also included High Contrast and Danny Byrd.

Chibuku has a whole host of fantastic DJs headlining over the next few weekends, including Annie Mac (3 Nov), Simian Mobile Disco (17 Nov) and Chase and Status (8 Dec). The legendary nights out take place in Masque on Seel Street, which announced its closure earlier this year. However, the venue is up and running again for Chibuku, Circus and Hospitality parties.

Chibuku started off many years ago in the confines of the legendary Lemon Lounge. At the time, it was hard to envisage how the club would evolve. Over the years, Chibuku has hosted many memorable parties and has reached an iconic status amongst the residents of Liverpool. Two years ago, it was voted as one of the Top 50 clubs in the world by DJs who have played there.

From the early days where founders Will Jameson and Damo Jones hired a rundown room above a pub for £40 to the present day where Chibuku has generated record bar takings, the initial ethos of ‘undiluted partying’ still rings true.
