This Saturday Liverpool community theatre group Grin Theatre will launch Voices, a showcase for up-and-coming writers around Merseyside.

Voices 1 will be hosted at 81 Renshaw Street and feature work from six local writers, including University of Liverpool alumnus and former LSMedia Arts editor Ian D. Hall.

The monologues performed will be Character A by Sally Fildes-Moss, Locked Room by James Wray, Ghost by Geoff Blundell, Salsa Steps Solo by Brian Wharton, I Clean for England by Alison Down and Americana by Ian D. Hall.

Doors open at 7pm with tickets costing £3.50, online-only.
