The Kazimier is set to welcome Merseyside songbird Natalie McCool this Thursday as Mellowtone launch her autumn UK tour with a little help on the night from Silent Cities, Cousin Jac and Ravens.

As well as winning ‘Female Artist of the Year’ at the Liverpool Music Awards this year, Miss McCool has stacked a high pile of accolades from both National and local radio stations, all recognising her undeniable guitar artistry and experimental, edgy sound.

“McCool has that extra something that makes her a cut above even her most talented peers”. BBC6 Music’s Chris Hawkins

Have a listen to her cover of ‘Nightcall’ from the Drive movie soundtrack:

Citing Jeff Buckley, Cocteau Twins, PJ Harvey and the Stone Roses among her influences, Natalie’s sound teams chorus drenched guitar hooks with dark, deep lyrics – at times controversial, yet always delivered with absolute conviction.

“Natalie’s voice is strong and distinctive, a powerful force” Bido Lito!

Support on the night will come from Leeds three piece Ravens, who will be bringing their self-proclaimed “quintessentially English sound” to the line-up, which also features a solo acoustic set from Silent Cities and “wholegrain church organ pop/folk” eight piece ensemble Cousin Jac.

Check out Natalie’s latest track ‘Wondrous Place’ here and be sure not to miss what’s set to be a great night of live music at the Kazimier!
