Nominations for the Liverpool Guild elections are now open.

Candidates are invited to stand for the Student Representative Officer positions: President, Deputy President and two Vice Presidents. This academic year, the NUS delegates elections were held in the first semester, and the trustee positions are no longer electable.

The SROs are the voice of all of University of Liverpool’s 20,000-plus student body, representing their interests and working to develop student life further. The current officers are using their powers to campaign to keep Wednesday afternoons free for sport, tackle sexual harassment on campus, develop new volunteering projects, and subsidise travel costs for field trips, amongst other activities.

Students can nominate themselves or a friend to be elected to one of the SRO positions. The Liverpool Guild is again holding the elections in collaboration with Liverpool Students’ Union and Hope Students’ Union. To put your name forward, visit: Nominate a friend here.

Nominations will close at 5pm on February 20th, and voting begins March 16th.
