Creamfields is back this summer and the line-up is set to be bigger and more diverse than ever. The award winning festival is set to feature acts that cover all genres of electronic music, from the country infused EDM music of the world famous DJ Avicii, to the emotional brooding of British garage duo Gorgon City. Dance music, in particular EDM, has seen a surge in popularity in recent years, a fact that comes as no surprise when looking at the global superstars that form the line-up for the UK’s biggest dance music festival.
The festival is continuing its tradition of outdoing itself every year and 2015 is no different. There will be eight tents of music on Saturday 29th August and Sunday 30th August, each boasting their own unique style of dance music, plus two main stages, but unlike last year the festival will run for three days, with six tents appearing on Friday 28th August. The inclusion of an extra day means that festival goers can experience more of their favourite dance acts whilst also being exposed to lesser known artists who are emerging into the dance scene.
It comes as no surprise that tickets to this years festival sold out in record time and unfortunately not all of us will get to experience the sheer dance euphoria that the festival provides. However, fear not as we will be providing a summary of the festival, including all the highlights, shortly after it ends. Summer has never felt this far away.
