The main event you want to make sure you go to is the welcome fair – this is where you can sign up for societies and get involved with uni life. There are almost 200 societies to choose from, including the best one… ours (totally unbiased). We will be there to answer any questions about the society and tell you how you can get your articles published on our brand new site. Furthermore there will be plenty of free goodies at the fair so make sure you grab as many as you can!

The Big Quiz
A personal favourite of mine is the big quiz; this truly is a big quiz with many teams competing for the chance to win. This means a big pot of money to win, a great way to enjoy your first freshers with a bumper bit of cash.
Furthermore the best name normally gets a prize, which is always fun to think of.
