Harry Potter prequel ‘Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them’ is to be filmed in Liverpool!
The filming is to take place in late October, just outside St George’s Hall.
This news is sure to send the entire student population of the city wild with Harry Potter mania.
But before you don your cape, grab your wand and your hastily forged Hogwarts acceptance letter and run down to St George’s Hall, think again. A giant, wall of steel has been erected around the filming site.
Unconfirmed sources also say an anti-apparition charm has been cast on the area.
Fantastic Beasts, a prequel to Harry Potter, is set around the adventures of Newt Scamander (Eddie Redmayne) in his attempt to document the magical creatures he comes across. The book he writes is subsequently used by Hogwarts students in their ‘Care of Magical Creatures’ classes.
The book is notoriously fierce, and has injured many a careless pupil (the trick is to stroke it’s spine!)
The new film is sure to stoke the embers of Harry potter fandom. Harry Potter marathon anyone?
