HMV Liverpool One will host a series of live sets over the coming weeks, kicking off with American Duo Deap Vally, who are performing their album Femejism at 5:30 on Tuesday, 20th September.

The Los Angeles rock duo will also sign copies of their new album, released via Cooking Vinyl just 4 days ago. Produced by the band themselves and the Yeah Yeah Yeah’s guitarist Nick Zinner, the album has been described as an “organic and creative explosion”.

The record is the follow-up album to the band’s debut record Sistrionix, which landed to righteous acclaim in 2013.

Fresh from dates in Europe with Red Hot Chili Peppers, Deap Vally are beginning their own tour with a unique intimate gig for fans in Liverpool.

Deap Vally said: “We are really excited to perform some tracks from our new album and to get the chance to meet some of our fans here in Liverpool.”

HMV Liverpool will also host Boston Manor on October 2nd, and The Shires on October 5th.
