A Conversation With Krept & Konan – A Red Bull Music Academy Lecture

Kept and Kronan, the hip hop and grime-influenced duo, are playing at the Baltic Triangle on Friday, 7th October.

Krept & Konan have recently snuck into mainstream success while retaining integrity and the respect of their influences. Having collaborated with artists as diverse as Rick Ross, Ed Sheeran and Wiz Khalifa, this lecture from the charismatic pair will chart their progress from their roots with the notorious Gipset crew, through to a major label deal.

The “lecture” will take place at one of Liverpool’s most distinctive DIY spaces – Constellations. Tickets are just £5, and the gig starts at 5 pm – it’s not one to be missed.

Dublin rapper Reijie Snow and confessional MC Loyle Carner are the ones to watch out for, as well as atmospheric beats from RBMA Montreal 2016 participant-to-be, Suicideyear. Siobhan Bell’s DJ set will set the night’s overall taste, with a vibe that has been described as “forward-thinking”.

Tickets for this are £15, and the event begins at 7pm.
