As a fairly new Liverpool resident, I found myself unfamiliar with the best restaurants and bars to be found here, but Zizzi has quickly become one of my favourite go to restaurants for a fabulous night out. With winter specials like chocolate salted caramel brownies, pimping prosecco and a feast of sharing boards, you definitely cannot go wrong.

Dig into their new menu, which promises to cater for vegans, vegetarians and dairy free customers. Zizzi offers classic Italian cuisine with a delicious twist. The Rustica pizza is their signature dish, which has an even thinner and crispier base for you to enjoy even more (if that’s possible). I particularly enjoyed the lasagne with its creamy and sweet tomato sauce the last time I visited. I would also recommend the freshly baked garlic bread to start and maybe a cheeky dessert or two.

This little treasure can be found on Paradise Street in Liverpool One Shopping Centre, it offers both inside and al fresco dining. There is a relaxing and social atmosphere, with friendly and extremely helpful staff wanting to make your experience the best it can possibly be. The unique design of the restaurant was inspired by the local Beatles Museum, promoting its Liverpool enthused style. High quality food and an individual Italian experience is a promise when visiting this little gem.
