The Battle of the Bands winner will win a slot to perform at the festival, which takes place between 31st March and 2nd April.
This exciting opportunity with Threshold Festival – a multi-arts event in venues across the Baltic Triangle – is in addition to BandSoc’s eagerly-awaited BotB final in March 2017. Threshold’s involvement in the BotB jury will be a great opportunity for society members to add a professional perspective to their music, and to become involved with Liverpool’s wider music scene.
Threshold on their side will be launching a discounted student ticket for the festival as well as offering volunteering opportunities, with the possibility to develop professional skills, get connected with Liverpool’s music and arts, and be creative.
“When I rather accidentally discovered Threshold two years into my undergrad, I wished I had been aware of the opportunities there straight away. I think this collaboration will be beneficial to everyone, give students awareness and bring Liverpool’s music culture right onto campus.“ – Jacques Rapacki, English MA student at Liverpool Uni and Threshold team member.
