Following its winter hibernation, Liverpool’s Botanical Garden re-awakens for its third season this weekend, Saturday 25th and Sunday 26th March.

Buried amongst industrial warehouses in the burgeoning Baltic Triangle, The Botanical Garden is a world away from the beer gardens set within the bustling city. The graffitied brickwork gives the garden a distinctly urban feel, while the flora and fauna add to the venue’s exotic vibe.

As ever, The Botanical Garden will be serving up superb summertime drinks. Expect an abundance of gin, including original creations designed for all occasions. Signature cocktails on offer include:

  • The Hot G&T; Portobello Road Gin, tonic syrup, boiling water, served with an orange twist & juniper berries
  • The Baltic Iced Tea; Portobello Road Gin, Creme de Peche, fresh lemon, chilled Earl Grey tea. Served long with a lemon wheel & peach bitters

This season, the venue will also play host to Ta’amiya, a Moroccan and falafel inspired street-food dining experience. Ta’amiya will be serving up culinary wonders, including the tantalisingly named ‘Falafeldog’.

The Botanical Garden will be open from this weekend onwards throughout the spring, summer and autumn. Open daily from midday – 11pm, weather permitting.
