Liverpool Guild of Students is hosting German Green MEP Terry Reinke on Wednesday March 29th to discuss “what you want from Brexit”.
Terry is part of the European Parliament’s Brexit negotiating committees and will be in conversation with students about young peoples’ Brexit preferences, as well as discussing what the “European Green vision is for negotiations.” The discussion is open to students from all backgrounds and political camps, encouraging discussion on “what Brexit means to you”. The talk also intends to help participants learn and understand more about the Brexit process from a European perspective as well as what to expect when official Brexit talks begin. With Theresa May looking to trigger Article 50 as soon as next week, the discussion promises to be a thought-provoking and meaningful discussion about Brexit which considers the perspective of Europeans as well as Brits.
