92 degrees coffee is a hidden gem of cafés, located on Hardman Street. It is a small, but very cosy and welcoming coffee shop. For those who are rebelling against the chain stores, it is a great and local place to start. The coffee shop is just behind the cathedral off campus, so is an ideal place to work or relax between lectures and its calming atmosphere makes it a great little get away too. As it is fairly small, it is a lovely place to study: grab a sofa, order a mocha and cosy up with your seminar readings (or your favourite book), time will fly by and make studying just a little bit easier!
The shop itself has a lovely atmosphere, with a quiet buzz of creative minds at work as people study, catch up and of course, enjoy the great coffee. For seating, you are spoilt for choice: you can lounge on a sofa; take a bar seat in the window or take a table for all of your study materials.
92 degrees coffee serves a range of teas, coffees, milkshakes and smoothies. However, if you are in need of more sustenance than cake, then there is a small selection of lunches, including, salads, soups and bagels. For the health conscious, there is an amazing superfood salad that delicious and full of all of those good things that keep us nourished and healthy! The cakes on offer include gluten free brownies, cinnamon swirls and a range of sliced cakes that are too difficult to resist. The selection of cakes tends to change, so if you are intending on visiting regularly, you will not be bored of the choice! If they make their home made jaffa cakes again, your day will be made.
