I ordered the Avocado Brunch (£6.95) with lime, chilli, coriander and tomato topped with a poached egg on toasted Puccia bread. My friend ordered the Cosy Club Breakfast (£8.50) which consisted of grilled smoked back bacon, Gloucester old spot sausage, field mushrooms, grilled tomato, fried potatoes, baked beans and fried or poached egg with toast. And my brother ordered the triple-stacked buttermilk pancakes (£6.75) with berry compote, banana and creme fraiche. But you could also have this option with smoked streaky bacon and maple syrup. All dishes were colourful, rich in flavour and extremely tasty.  There are plenty of flavoursome options from British classics to popular favourites found around the world.

Seated at a window table my family and I had the perfect view overlooking Liverpool One on a bright sunny day. The food was reasonably priced especially for the quality, which was excellent. The service was friendly and the food quickly arrived at our table only a short time after the order was taken. As mentioned earlier alongside the everyday menu there is a vegan menu that has definitely been given just as much attention. There is a selection of brunch dishes, sandwiches, starters and desserts.

My mid morning brunch as promised by Cosy Club was indulging and comforting. Next time I visit it’ll be for lunch or an evening meal in order to try even more of their delicious options especially for the desserts.
