Have you not managed to bag tickets to many decent gigs for this summer? Is trekking around the muddy fields of a music festival like Glastonbury not quite for you? Fear not folks, as there’s one particular upcoming U.K tour that’s sure to make your wallet beg you to spend money on tickets. Are you ready for it? Taylor Swift, one of the most successful and most-talked about singer-songwriters of the last decade, especially because of her big “Reputation” (no pun intended), is bringing her huge stadium tour of the same name to the U.K this summer, with two performances at Manchester’s Etihad stadium on June 8th and June 9th respectively.

Some of you might be thinking that Tay Tay revels too much in all the drama, and that her songwriting that mostly pays homage to any drama or heartbreak in her life isn’t worth the tour dollar, right? Wrong! The Nashville-born country teen star turned pop siren looks like she’s got harder and got smarter in the nick of time for the Reputation Stadium Tour. What other touring artist in your ‘wildest dreans’ do you know that has roughly six different coloured microphones, a vast array of glittery costumes, screens that reflect onto a snake-spit stage of the venue, and mechanical glow-in-the-dark snakes that slither out above the crowd? Call it what you want, as these are some of the many reasons why Taylor Swift’s current tour, which recently commenced in America in Glendale, Phoenix on May 8th, is one of the top must-see tours of this summer!

Plus, good old Tay Tay isn’t doing this tour alone. She’s joined forces with ex-Fifth Harmony member-turned-soloist Camilla Cabello, and also British electropop sensation Charli XCX, who serve as the support acts for the Reputation Stadium Tour. What’s even more exciting is that both Camilla and Charli join Taylor halfway through the show for a performance of one of the headliner’s biggest hits ‘Shake It Off,’ which looks set to get every single crowd member, from the front row right to the very back row of the stadium, up on their feet and dancing with their hands tied.

As for the tour’s setlist, it features nearly every single track on the No.1 album Reputation as well as past fan favourites, ranging from 2014/2015 pop smash hits ‘Blank Space’ and the alleged Katy Perry diss-track ‘Bad Blood,’ then right to the very roots of Taylor Swift’s back catalogue of country ballads such as ‘Love Story’ and ‘You Belong With Me.’ Whether you’re a “Swiftie” or not, the Reputation Stadium Tour should most definitely be on the cards for your next concert. There are still some tickets available for the tour’s Manchester dates so hurry fast and grab some before they officially sell out, as Ms. Swift’s got a list of names and yours is in red underlined!

Note: Taylor Swift’s No.1 album Reputation is available for download and streaming across all music platforms.
