On Sunday 4th November the incredible River of Light festival will light up the skies in Liverpool, with a never before-seen musical firework show over the stunning waterfront. Tens of thousands of people are expected to line the waterfront for the free display, with the Royal Albert Dock, which is just a stone’s throw away, being an ideal spot to enjoy some delicious pre or post festival sustenance.

Or, of course, there’s fresh Paella too (£16.95 per person). Children can enjoy any tapas meal from the Lunyalita menu with a choice of chips or salad, a soft drink and ice cream for £7.75.

Puffle Waffle

If you’re looking for a sweet treat to eat after (or during) the display, then why not try the latest food craze, bubble waffles. Served from Puffle Waffle next to the Beatle’s Story, these puffed waffle cones are served with an array of mouth-watering fillings and toppings – the perfect sweet treat.

The recently opened and family-run Peaberry offers a diverse menu brimming with a selection of meat, vegetarian, vegan and gluten free dishes, meaning there’s something to suit everyone.
