CAN Waterloo is believed to be Liverpool’s very first 100% plastic free vegan cafe/bar. Co-owners Ryan and Louise King were inspired to open the bar/cafe due to the lack of food venues that offered completely vegan menus. CAN Waterloo’s eco-friendly attitude and vegan approach makes for a perfect guilt-free meal everyone can enjoy.

The menu regularly changes according to the seasons, and the cafe only sources from local and independent suppliers in the city. As the name promises, only cans are used so expect lots of canned cocktails and beers that taste just as good. The entire restaurant is recycled or up-cycled including the very furniture you’ll be sitting on.

The cafe is located on St Johns Road – around a 20 minute drive away from the university’s campus.
