The Great Celebrity Bake Off for Stand Up to Cancer returns with its second series tomorrow (March 5th, 2019) at 8pm on Channel 4 – just what we knead alongside Pancake Day!
Twenty new celebrities have been whisked away to the beloved white tent and will attempt to bake not only for our viewing pleasure but to raise money for Cancer Research UK. Each week, four celebrities will go head-to-head in the Signature Bake, the Technical Challenge, and the Showstopper, competing for the famous “Hollywood Handshake”, or the slightly less-known but still equally as impressive “Prue Pat”.
The first episode will feature John Lithgow (Actor, The Crown), Jon Richardson (Comedian), Hannah Cockroft (Paralympic wheelchair racer), and Russell Brand (Comedian), as they attempt to bake brownies, a 3D biscuit and face a rather tricky technical challenge.
