Long gone are the days of limited vegetarian options at our favourite restaurants, with the choices for vegetarian and vegan diners more diverse than ever. With National Vegetarian Week taking place from 13-19th May, there’s no better time to indulge in some meat-free dining.

Titanic Hotel Liverpool

With its new Spring menu having just launched at Stanley’s Bar & Grill, Titanic Hotel is a great dining choice for a light lunch or flavoursome dinner, with numerous vegetarian options. From crispy Hafod cheese croquettes with tomato and red pepper chutney, to the Titanic Waldorf salad, or caramelised shallot tart Tatin, the menu is brimming with an array of vegetarian seasonal produce.

Peaberry Coffee House & Kitchen

Since opening its second site at the Royal Albert Dock last year, Peaberry has become a firm favourite with locals and out of town visitors looking to get their coffee fix or enjoy brunch, lunch or a light dinner. With daily specials the menu never fails to impress, offering a hearty selection of vegetarian options, such as the grilled Halloumi and avocado bagel.

Lunyalita

For a lip-smacking vegetarian option with a Spanish twist, Lunyalita on the Royal Albert Dock offers a vegetable paella made with fresh market vegetables, perfect when washed down with a chilled glass of Spanish wine on a sunny day.

Revolucion de Cuba

With a food menu that is equally as exciting as its cocktail menu, Revolution de Cuba on the Royal Albert Dock is an ideal choice for some flavoursome Cuban-inspired small plates and creative cocktails. From Jackfruit nachos and spiced beet burgers, to Halloumi tacos, the menu is brimming with a variety of vegetarian and vegan dishes to enjoy.

Rosa’s Thai Cafe

Finding vegetarian food in Thai cuisine can often be challenging when fish sauce is King of the kitchen, however this isn’t the case at one of Royal Albert Dock’s newest restaurants, Rosa’s Thai Cafe. The team are extremely accommodating to dietary requirements and able to swap non-veggie ingredients for equally flavoursome vegetarian friendly options. Favourites include fresh summer rolls, Rosa’s fried rice and Butternut red curry to name a few.
