In the hopes of addressing all things Liverpool, top Liverpool salon Voodou is set to host a new television series entitled ‘Scouse Proud’. University of Liverpool wins Liverpool Varsity 83-52

University of Liverpool beat out arch-rivals Liverpool John Moores University with a score of 83 against John Moores’ 52 in the Liverpool Varsity. Each year, Liverpool’s two principal universities – UoL and LJMU – go head-to-head in the annual Liverpool Varsity. University of Liverpool and its 21,000 students this week took on John Moores’ 24,000 strong student body in 18 different sports.   Most of the competitions took place at Wyncote Sports Grounds, the University of Liverpool’s outdoor sport facility, on Wednesday 25th March, 2015.   The results of the 2015 SO election was announced last night in the Courtyard of the Liverpool Guild, with Harry Anderson being re-elected as Guild President. In a close race for Liverpool Guild President, Harry Anderson has emerged victorious. A total of 4017 votes were cast – 18% of the student population. The turnout of voters is up by over 50% from last year’s 2660 votes. 14 candidates put themselves up for the four available positions.
