Singles out 7th August Marvin Gaye – Charlie Puth feat. Meghan Trainor 2015 really has been the year for American Youtube star Charlie Puth, whose popularity has rocketed ever since he appeared in Meghan Trainor’s Dear Future Husband music video back in March. Karen Harding House act Arches have yet to make it big in the dance scene, and as such the duo have enlisted the vocals of Karen Harding, who achieved chart success with her song Say Something back in January. Picking Karen to appear on the track was a smart move; she’s already created waves in both the dance and commercial scene with her impressive vocals. Unfortunately, even with Karen’s vocals the track fails to deliver due to the forgettable production and lack of a catchy chorus. Fans of Gorgon City, MNEK or Katy B might...

Belgian DJ Lost Frequencies climbed one place last week to secure the UK’s official number 1 single. Are You With Me, which entered the chart at number 2 last week, dethroned Tinie Tempah and in doing so became the last number 1 single of the current chart era as the chart show will from now on be moved to a shorter Friday spot.  This change in format coincides with a change in release dates for both singles and albums, as they will now be released on a Friday in conjunction with the rest of the world.
